This arrangement of objects was waiting for inspiration until you arrived. Your eye followed your intuition, exploring the possibilities. Then, the moment arrives when everything falls into place. You know that you've found what you were looking for. Or, perhaps it's found you. Can art exist without someone to see it, interpret it, feel it?

I don't think so. Similarly, I think art comes about through both the viewer and the artist. Without the artist, the subject is an uninterpreted, un"known" thing. At least that's my opinion.

But which finds which? I think it's mutual. A certain amount of art is being in the right place (mentally, spiritually, physically) at the right time. So the art finds the artist. Serendipity occurs.

But the artists finds the art by looking for it, too. I know I can feel it when, after trying all kinds of shots, I find the one that makes me happy. Will Scarviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04596860514498004804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2873376799680978616.post-68244834802891044962011-01-17T20:49:48.087-08:002011-01-17T20:49:48.087-08:00Does the artist find the art?
